At MasterKey Labs, we understand that your operational data is the lifeblood of your company. We respect your confidentiality and are committed to protecting all data shared during our business checkups and consulting engagements.
1. Information We Collect
When you run a business checkup or sign up for an account, we collect relevant business information such as company name, industry, inquiry volume, and operational bottlenecks. We also collect contact information (email, phone) to provide you with your audit findings and tailored solutions.
If you join the MasterKey Desk waitlist, we keep your name, WhatsApp number, the plan you chose and your answers to its questions, so that we can reply to you on WhatsApp. When you join, these details are emailed to us through our email provider.
When MasterKey Labs makes a Desk page for a business, the page shows what that business gave us to publish: its name, WhatsApp number, products or services, prices and photos. Visits and button taps on these pages are counted in the same anonymous way as on the rest of this site. A buyer's message goes straight from their phone to the business on WhatsApp and does not pass through us.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used strictly to diagnose process bottlenecks, calculate estimated financial waste, and recommend relevant automation systems. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third-party advertisers.
3. AI Processing of Your Checkup Answers
The written brief on your business checkup results is produced by an external AI provider, DeepSeek. To write it, the answers you gave in the checkup — including the city you type — and the language you are reading in are sent to that provider. Your name, email address and phone number are not sent with them. If you would rather not have your answers processed this way, do not run the checkup; the rest of the site works without it.
4. Data Security & Storage
We use industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS in transit and AES encryption at rest). Your account credentials and operational metrics are securely isolated to prevent unauthorized access.
5. Site Measurement
To understand how the site is used and how fast it loads, we record two kinds of anonymous measurement.
First, our own visitor counting: when you open a page or take a step such as running a tool or joining a waitlist, we record the name of that step, a few details of it (such as the language of the page or the plan you chose), the page it happened on, and a random identifier stored in your browser so we can count visitors rather than visits. It contains no name, email or phone number. Your IP address is used only to prevent abuse and is not stored.
Second, Vercel Speed Insights, provided by our hosting company, measures how quickly each page loads and responds, along with your device type, browser and approximate country. It uses no cookies and does not identify you.
Neither is used for advertising, and neither is shared with advertisers.
